This is a quote from a marketing consultant I was working with last week.
We were walking from Borough Market where we photographed one of their senior people to a park so that we could shoot another team member playing table tennis.
The photography brief was to capture shots that authentically show these people doing something they love. In around 10 minutes!
Before the shoot I found out what they were interested in (food and table tennis) then planed a couple of locations close to their office that we could use to show this.
The photos were to be used internally along with a written profile to showcase their star people to the whole organisation. These are people who are not only subject matter experts, but who also love helping others, are willing to share their knowledge and give their time to develop their colleagues.
The profile pieces were not only a chance to reward these stars and celebrate their attitude but also a way of making them better know within the organisations more people could benefit from their experience and attitude.
What a great idea! We need more people like this around.
